Which shape suits your trip to practice?
For a busy sports bag, consider where the case will sit beside shoes, bottles and other items. A rigid shell may suit your packing preference, but keep heavy items from pressing on the racket case.
For a daily club or school trip, compare EVA's shell shape with PU's flexibility. The right choice depends on your bag, racket fit and handling. You do not need a particular material just because your racket is expensive.
What care does the racket still need?
A case keeps the racket separate from loose kit and helps shield the playing face from dust. It does not remove the need to clean the rubber or make the racket waterproof. Clean according to the rubber maker's directions and let the racket dry before storing it.
Butterfly advises a protective sheet after play for Tenergy 05 because its surface is delicate. See its product care instructions. Other rubbers may have their own care directions. A case and a protective film serve different jobs: carrying the racket and covering the playing face.
Is a case suitable as a gift?
A case can be easier to choose than a rubber model because it does not require guessing a player's preferred playing feel. Still check the racket size and whether the player wants a rigid or soft case. Ask about fit before buying for an unfamiliar racket.
